Meet the Author Behind the Darkness

Chris Sapp is the author of the Sensei Helsing Series, an IMDb-credited screenwriter, and a member of the film review podcast Fellowship of the Reel. Living in Texas he draws inspiration from acclaimed authors like Matt Dinniman, Jay Kristoff, and Christopher Buehlman, blending cinematic storytelling with gripping, character-driven narratives. When he’s not writing or talking film, Chris champions what he jokingly calls his favorite endangered species—movie theaters—celebrating the magic of the big-screen experience whenever he can.
